Brian Meehan is an Associate Professor of Economics and Chair of the Department of Economics and Data Analytics. He teaches law and economics, public economics, and environmental economics. His published research focuses on the economics of crime, occupational regulation, and public choice. He has published in journals including Public Choice, Applied Economics, International Review of Law and Economics, Review of Law & Economics, and the Journal of Sports Economics. He also serves as a research affiliate with the Knee Regulatory Research Center at West Virginia University.
