Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Valdes is a visiting professor of Mathematics at Berry College. He is currently teaching Applied Calculus and Elementary Statistics. His research interests are in the representation theory of quadratic forms, number theory, and combinatorics.
Dr. Valdes obtained his Ph.D. from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, USA. His dissertation, under the supervision of Dr. Wai Kiu Chan, was on the recoverability of integral lattices. He obtained his master's degree at the Universidad de Talca, Chile, under the supervision of Dr. David Plaza.
