Laura Flatow is a Clinical Associate Professor of Animal Science and the Pre-Veterinary Coordinator. Dr. Flatow joined the Animal Science Department in 2012. She has a B.S. in Animal Science from Iowa State University and a M.S. in Animal Science and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology from University of California Davis with a focus on poultry nutrition and immunology. Dr. Flatow teaches a variety of classes in the Animal Science Department. Through her role as the Pre-Veterinary Coordinator, she works closely to prepare students for and guide them through the veterinary school application process. Dr. Flatow also serves on the Advisory Board of Trustees for the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association.
