Moon Gallery to host material-based art exhibit

Berry College Moon Gallery's newest exhibition “stuff” highlights the material aspect of artistry.

“stuff” is a curated group exhibition that highlights how seemingly mundane artistic materials convey meaning. The show features artists from across the United States working with a range of mediums, including paper, printmaking, textiles, photography and sculpture.

The exhibit includes photography by University of the South Professor Jessica Wohl, abstract charcoal drawings by Birmingham-based artist Ty Smith, and handmade collage books by Auburn University Design Professor Kelly Bryant.

It also features work by Bethany Moody, whose work is exhibited nationally, including recent solo exhibitions in Buffalo, N.Y. and Nashville, Tenn.

The exhibit is open through March 6. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays. Entry is free and open to the public.
