Community Engagement & Service

community-programs.jpgThrough programs that mobilize students, faculty and staff to serve with humility and care, the Office of Belonging and Community Engagement connects the Berry community with local and regional partners.

Service initiatives reflect our commitment to being Good Neighbors. We approach communities with curiosity, collaboration and shared purpose. From one-time projects to sustained partnerships, these opportunities help students live out Berry’s motto and contribute to the common good.

Training & Workshops

training-and-workshops.jpgThe Office of Belonging and Community Engagement offers voluntary Good Neighbor Workshops for students, faculty, staff and community partners. These interactive sessions are rooted in Berry’s Good Neighbor Culture and are designed to help participants cultivate belonging, navigate difference and strengthen relationships across campus and beyond.

Be Love Week

Be-Love-Week-icon.jpgHeld annually in January, Be Love Week mobilizes the Berry community to serve alongside our neighbors in Rome and Floyd County. The week launches on Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a campus-wide gathering and continues with service projects and events that reflect Martha Berry’s call to serve with humility and purpose.

Berry Circles
