Summer International Programs (SIP)

Each summer, Berry professors take students abroad for special topics classes. Locations, topics and program fees vary year to year.

Academics

Students going on SIPs will receive Berry credit and grades, and SIPs can often fulfill major, minor and/or Foundations requirements. SIPs are Berry classes, so they are not considered transfer classes.

Finances and Aid

Each SIP has its own deposit amount, due date and withdrawal deadline. Tuition and fees include Berry College tuition, host program's housing (instead of Berry's room and board fees) and an international health insurance rate.

Fees must be paid in advance. Instructions on how to make payments will be included in the application process.

If students have qualified for financial aid for the summer, they may be eligible to apply those to SIP fees.
